Clothing Donations
Thank You for considering an in-kind donation to HUGS. Your donations are very appreciated, and will go directly to St. Johns County kids-in-need, who are referred by their school counselors or local social service agencies.
Please be aware that we are just a four-woman, all-volunteer team, and we do our best to accept donations in a timely manner. There may be times of year when we cannot accept donations, due to a need for us to sort through existing donations.
We Accept New and Nearly-New, School Dress Code Appropriate PreK-12th grade clothing that kids would wear to school.
We CANNOT accept:
- Sleeveless tops or spaghetti strap tops
- Short shorts/short skirts
- Out of style jeans (girls appreciate skinny jeans, boys appreciate straight fit)
- Shirts with St. Johns County school names or youth sports team names
- Shirts with skulls, weapons, or statements about “mom” or “dad”
- Cleats, flip-flops, sandals or shoes that look worn
- Used socks or underwear
- Swimsuits
- Pajamas
- Women’s or men’s “office” clothing
